Idiots Guide To Using Codec Software COnverting 3g videos to use in windows media player

Would appreciate any help for this.

Have a number of videos of my son's christening on my phone (battery died half way through on video camera....long story dont ask hehehe) and trying to view them via Windows Media Player. Thsi site was recommended by a techhead friend but he's unavailable to help.

I downloaded above in hope it would help but truthfully I havnt baldy what Im doing i hoped by downloading this automatically poof! my probs would be sorted but did so and hasn't changed a thing. Try and play vids through windows media player nad still wont recognise them

Help!!!!!

Seriously would really appreciate some help on this matter. Trying to avoid quoting Star Wars but help me (insert tag) your my only hope!
