Hi all,
my problem is that ive mistakenly put NERO 7 on to my laptop and its not compatiable.It will not let me uninstall it via control panel,just keeps coming up that "windows installer has stopped working",although it lets me uninstall every other program!! just not NERO 7.Does anyone know another way of getting rid of NERO 7 as it wont let me download NERO 8 until 7 has gone!.Im getting confused by the whole thing and would greatly appreciate any help in plain english with instructions,as im a bit of a liability with computers!!...............many thanks iaing |

Looks like a job for Mischcabob. And this is why I love my XP. I still think they rushed Vista to the public.

You are not alone with issues with Nero.. I got errors with pre-release of Nero 8 (quite bloated!)because I had a prior release installed at one point.
Need to download and install Nero General Clean Tool. which removes all traces of Nero. After it finishes and you reboot, you can now do a clean install of Nero. However, recommend installing Nero 8 micro or Nero 7 lite version if using slower computer or have limited hard drive space.

Try downloading C Cleaner and use it to remove nero 7 i can't remember i thought nero had its own uninstall program if you look it may.
