Smartmovie on AT&T Tilt (8900), codec Options

I have been using Nokia devices for years with the Symbian OS and have been using Smartmovie with them with no problem I was pleased to see that Lonely Cat Games also has these great programs for my new WM 6 phone. I installed Smartmovie and corem-p4 per directions. I must be missing something or another codec as it won't run the sample movies in the program which are AVI files. I don't remember having to do anything special on my Symbian devices. Anyone here famaliar with Smartmovie please????
