Everytime I try to watch a DVD on my windows media player I get this message...

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.

I installed all of the updates and still no go. I tried installing and running a video decoder check-up utility but it keeps saying the following.. this decoder is not compatible with the synchronization feature of Windows Media Player 10.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks

Be sure you do not have a BD disc (BlueRay). These will require an additional plugin, as well as a drive that's blueray capable.

Video card and monitor need to be all HDCP compatible. Perhaps different region code?

If your DVD-decoder software is supported and your drivers are updated, run the DVD Troubleshooter on your computer to help you isolate the issue.
To start the trouble shooter the follow the below step.Mite these would work out.

1. Click Start, and then Run.

2. In the Run dialog box, type
hcp://help/tshoot/TS_DVD.htm.
