I don't understand what your changing, this doesn't work...
I have the latest DX and have tried fiddling with all those options but I still get this error!??!!? |

Hrm it's not working for me, either. What's irritating is that I've done it before, but I can't remember how. I've changed the settings and none of them have the single asterisk beside them, so I don't know it's not working...

Yes, you probaby will need DirectX9b at least. And check out the rendering/overlay settings. You may not be able to save images in some cases but you can change these options in MPC if you click Options under View drop down menu. See the image. thanx a lot!!!!!!!!!!! |

After you've made the changes the options, don't forget to restart MPC.
i started out having the "getcurrentimage failed" problem. Then came to this forum thread & saw chp's post about the MPC options. But after making the changes, i was still having the problem - until i restarted MPC. Now it works perfectly. Thanks chp! |
