PC security and everything? Is that all...?
There's enough literature on this broad topic that will keep you occupied for several years. rolleyes.gif

Hi,

I was doing some searches last night and ran across a site that has a Basic security guide that is free. It is only basic information, but some users may get some use out of it. I am posting the link below.

Price: Only $29.95 o yea, its free alright and it tells u to use free software. a better alterantive is to visit Wilders Security Forum. the people there are very friendly and i am currently a member. i have learned a lot from being there.

edit: the LITE version of the guide is free, just visit the download section.

Just though that users would like to know the free version was updated and now includes another chapter on computer law and a computer information tool. The price has also been reduced on the full version to $19.95. I have found the guide covers more than just firewalls and virus scanners and has some good information that I have not found on other boards. I agree there is a lot of good free security information out there, but I had purchased the full version of the guide and found that it had a lot of items that I wanted to know about. Just my opinion...

I just checked the site again and the full version of The Security Guide is now Freeware. I guess bugmenot cannot complain about this. A better deal now for everyone. Check out the site below... biggrin.gif
