i don't really know a lot about computers so reading other forums was a little confusing. all i know is i use limewire to download music and movies and such, and if i download and try to play an avi file in windows media player, it says "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class." what do i do/download to make this work??

I use an excellent little viewer called VideoLan...available here (free I think)

It is also the only program I know which allows you to view partial Emule files.

i downloaded the vlc player and a short avi file and it played fine. the file i want is larger and hasn't finished yet, but i don't see why it won't work as well. thanks for the help!!
