A couple of things that you need to watch out for, starting from the more serious;
1. Go to ASUS, North America, and register and download the newest BIOS
2. Adjust your current bios (Power On<Del>brings you to BIOS
3. Adjust the Power up sequence to boot up from the floppy drive
4. <f10> to save and insert your floppy with new BIOS and restart
5. Activate the Flash BIOS by <Alt F2>
6. If you have done everything right the FLASH Utility will read the new BIOS and then you will be set to adjust the BIOS for non-RAID.
6. Go into your new BIOS and make sure the RAID functions are OFF.
If you cannot see anything then you need to switch your PSU and also the DDR must be 400 (preferred) or 333, No the 266 DDR will not work as ASUS recommends 400 and at the very least 333 DDR.
You also need power supply. Some people say that the 20 pin will work, but my experience is that the 24 is what it wants. The reason is not only the power config but also the fact that your power unit is not built for this type of mobo.
300W is not sufficient to drive 4 drives, a PCI-ex card and hot 775 and the 915P chipset plus 4 system fans, plus the automation utilities for overclocking and thermocontrol. I recommend at least 2 x 512 mb 400 DDR dual channel (A1`and B1 DIMM slots) and 450 true Watts. Make sure your mem is matched.

trying to get this running, but no video from when i push the switch on. But, it runs pretty darn quietly at least. they say these high power video cards suck a lot of juice and i'm running two hard drives and two opticals, but i've got a 300w. but this new mobo has a 24 pin and a 4 pin power slot. and my ps only has a 20 and a 4 so i hooked it up accordingly. any help would be appreciated. cause i don't really want pops using this for a $500 air mover.
