Firstly let me say sorry but I`m new to all this. I have been directed here in the hope that you can help me. When waching videos in media player there are green dots all over the screen. I have formatted my hard drive and re installed media player but to no avail. I have followed the directions on microsfts help page (buggering about with direct draw settings) but that did not cure it. I have been accused if watching p0rn on other so called help sites which did not help. I have found that if I constantly toggle between maximising and restoring my page size then sometimes the dots disapear. If there is nothing I can do with media player then is there a way I can make the screen bigger when viewing in quicktime. Many thanks.

Media Player 10 comes with some codecs.

But i dont think this is a codecproblem.

To be sure you can open your files with "G-Spot".

It shows what file it is and if neccessary codecs are installed.

Otherwise you can try to play it with VLC Player or Media Player Classic.

Seems to me better players than the Quicktime Player.

Dont have more suggestions to solve your problem.
