Check whether there are broken codecs with GSpot or Sherlock.
Verify your video card driver's settings as well.

Cheers for the quick response...i've checked for broken codecs and have none. I'm using an NVIDIA GEForce FX5200 with latest drivers installed. Still only MEdia PLayer Classic seems to be the only prog that'll play the files correctly. I've ried converting them but still havfe no luck. Any help gratefully appreciated. smile.gif
