Hi... I'm a newbie, and already in need of help! >.<
I've just installed Snazzi* III External Video Capture device by USB to my PC, which uses the old Win98 OS. I have no problem in detecting the hardware, installing the program and the drivers. The problem came when I try to capture a video.
Whenever I try to see the video ( by clicking on the preview button ), a new window pops up, and it's the ActiveMovie window. After that, everything just goes blank on the Snazzi screen. Nothing shows up on the screen.
I tried using different sources of videos ( video tapes, DVD, TV... ) still nothing shows up! I thought it was the cable, so I tried disconnecting and re-connecting, still nothing happens... >.<
Everytime I turned OFF the source, the Snazzi program tells me "No video source detected, please check if the source is turned on", but whenever I turned the source ON, the ActiveMovie window appears and everything just goes blank without any error messages or explanation.
Can anyone help??? Is it the program, the device, or the ActiveMovie? What can I do?
PS : I already installed the DirectX 8, Windows Media Player 9, and Internet Explorer 6... T.T

Hmmm .. so are you running Windows XP or 98 ? (If you are running XP try using the compatibility mode option, right-click on the exe and click properties and then compatibility and set it to 98) If you are running 98, uhhh .... then I dunno

I have used the hardware before. My computer crashed down a few weeks ago and I had to buy a new harddisk. I installed Win98 OS to the new harddisk, and then install the hardware... I had no problems with the hardware before. But why now? >.< Anyone knows where I can download the latest ActiveMovie program or update?

Are you looking for the old ActiveMovie Player?
