Hi there!!!

I have spend so many time to solve this problem, so now it's looks like unsolvable! sad.gif
Well. I have a digital photo camera KONICA MINOLTA DiMAGE Z3 which supports MJPEG MOV video format with resolution 640x480 or 320x240 and with 15 or 30 fps. I want to us it as portable videoplayer, so I want to transfer MY videofile on it. When I get *.MOV from DiMAGE Z3, it is said that videoformat have following specification:

VIDEO:
frame 320x240
fps 15
aspect ratio 1:1
codec Photo-JPEG
AUDIO:
sample rate 7840 Hz
channels mono
compressor Big-Endian 16 bit

BUT when I create such video as above described and transfer it on DiMAGE Z3, "Unable to display" title appears!!! sad.gif I use Quick Time v6.5 Full with incapsuled Authoring tool.

I have already try to convert video with Adobe Premier v6.0 and Canopus Pro Coder... But in any case it don't work!!! sad.gif( "Unable to display" as well... sad.gif I have try to select or deselect "Optimize for streaming" checkbox, change audio/video interleaving delay, change aspect ratio -- all possible cases... sad.gif but there is no results sad.gif(( HELP ME, PLEASE!!! sad.gif((

When I compare different MOVs (my MOV and MOV from DiMAGE Z3) in WinHEX, I can see such differences as unequal header size and different end code and so on... This formats are DIFFER!! WHY???

When can I get *.MOV converter with Photo-JPEG support and wide-changable options inside (I have found 7840 Hz only in Adobe Premier, Canopus can't set frequency manually.. sad.gif )??? Maybe, is it necessary to change version of Quick Time or use alternative QT? If you have a photo camera with MOV MJPEG video (Kodak LS753, Minolta A2, Minolta Dimage Z3, Nikon Coolpix 5200, Nikon 8400, Nikon E8800, Panasonic FX7, Panasonic FZ-1, Pentax 750Z, Olympus C-5000/C-5050/C-8080, Olympus mini digital, Pentax Optio X, Sanyo Xacti J1), how do you transfer or convert video for it??? PLEASE, HELP!!!

P.S.: I have found MP4Cam2AVI 2.22 tool (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MP4Cam2AVI.htm) on this site, but this convertion tool do opposite action.. sad.gif

I don't understand why would want to use a digital camera as a portable video player.
You can make short mono motion jpEg and MOVs and transfer them to your computer, but that's about it. (watch/record them through a TV/VCR with RCA cables) I have a Canon A75 (sweet camera) that I use for taking pictures and had tried it once for recording movies with audio. Digital Cameras certainly don't have the features like a full Camcorder does and are not meant as a storage portable device.

Now if you had a PDA, pocketPC or smart phone, you likely could make a DIVX movie and watch it on that device. wink.gif

Cause I want to prove that Z3 CAN store MY video as well as A2 or other MJPEG models!
