hey everybody, i just have simple question

anybody know of free software i could use to take the audio from a video file and then turn it into an mp3 file? the videos would be coming from a sony digital camera i think they're mpeg but im not sure. any help is appreciated thanks!

Hi! TMPGEnc is free and you can extract the audio from MPEG to wav with it. Then convert to the format you want with the appropriate encoder.
