Hi folks,

I'm a newbie in capturing analog VHS movies into a digital format on my computer. Can anybody give me an advice for an easy to use tool and a fast software encoder in order to receive an AVI DV file from my VHS player connected to the "video in" on my ASUS V7700 Gforce 2 VIVO grafic card? Actually I would like to receive the same file format as if capturing from my camcorder via firwire (IEEE1394).

Thanks for any help rolleyes.gif ,

I don't do this personally, but have read lots of positive feedbacks of the software WinDV.

VirtualDub is also a great tool for this.
