Hi everyone. My friend (really) has a problem with his monitor, the image is upside down. The monitor apparently while watching a video, the monitor turned of and when it turned back on, the image was upside down.
Thanks in advance
engergojita
Dear friend,

Maybe you have touched the rotation function in the option or preferences of the watching movie software or in the VGA Card controller. You should access the option or VGA Settings to recorrect it !

Goodluck !

So ... is everything upside-down ? Not just the movie ? If so do what engergojita says. I mean was he just passively watching and it turned upside-down with just him sitting there ... he didn't touch the keyboard or monitor at all ?

Prank programs can do this, as well as certain more vicious malware.

I understand that some integrated graphics machines have a function (for Dell Ctrl-Alt-uparrow/downarrow) that will do this. What hardware is your friend using? (Computer, monitor, graphics card)

Has he run an online virus check and thorough adware spyware cleanups? (I like both Panda and TrendMicro Housecall for the OLAV, and Ad Aware and Spybot S&D for spyware/adware.

If those have been taken care of and the prob. continues, let us know, OK?

Good luck.

There is an interesting little thread on monitor image inversion at Google groups. If you are curious, you might want to check it out.
