When I play some DivX encoded AVIs at home, some of them play with the video stretched/distorted at the bottom of the picture, and sometimes the right side as well. (SEE PIC)
These files play fine on other machines. I use MediaPlayer 10 and MediaPlayer Classic and they do it.
DivX Player and Irfanview play the same files fine.
I have K-Lite Codec Pack v2.54 FULL installed.

I'm sure (almost), it's because of the K-Lite CP Full and the likely installed other codecs.
Basically we advise here: only install the codecs you really need.
But DivX Player plays fine so it's not a big problem
You can search for broken codecs with Gspot or Sherlock and reinstall if there was any. Also possible, there's something to do with MPC's or WMP's output options.
