Ok, i am as confused as i can be..

Take it from the start. Comp crashed, formated disk, installed windows again. Had to install mediaplayer and codecs over again. First tried to get some new codec packs. Installed one but when i started a movie it just got all bluescreen of death on me. Some error with akt(something).dll...

So i install a new codecpack, same crap happens again.. So i uninstall them all and see what happens.. ofc nothing, movie doesnt play at all. So i start installing older codecs i have, one by one. It all results in one movie working fine, but another giving me the bluescreen of death. I have come to the conlusion that .. well.. no idea tongue.gif Codecproblems? Any suggestions, help anything... feeling a bit lonely without my movies to watch..

Well pretty hard not knowing specs. I assume you are running older windows since you get a BSOD.
Are you sure this is a codecs problem? Knowing the DLL and error meesage certainly help. wink.gif

Many bugs can be fixed simply by updating display driver. wink.gif
