I agree, this game is awesome !!! I can't believe it's free ! And the graphics are quite good, especially for a FREE game ! I highly recommend it if you like RPG's. Great find Flyer !


Oh, and an installation note: Install this program on the same hard drive partition as Windows. For example, if the Windows folder is on drive C:, you should install to drive C:. For me, it does not seem to be able to auto-update if installed on another partition.

Uhhh ... their website is down quite often ... just wait a while it'll come back up. I'd like to say that although this game was cool for some time .. at about level 45 it starts to get really annoying, I think that's why you have to pay ... it removes the annoying factor ... not being able to level up !

Can you tell me all the classes in the game?

There are 4 classes, 2 races, 3 genders:
Genders:
1) Male
2) Female
3) Barbarian (can only be a warrior)

Races:
1) The humans
2) The orcs
... their specific names like El-Morad are unimportant

Classes:
1) Warrior - can use powerful weapons at close range ... you gotta be a tank to take the beating (need very good armor which is often hard to find and extremely expensive ... people tend to rip off the n00bs ... so WATCH OUT !
2) Mage - can use elemental magic to incinerate dozens of enemies at once ... or freeze them and then incinerate them
3) Rogue - Can use powerful bows to kill enemies in 1 hit (really expensive bows) ... can use knives ... yes characters can use 2 weapons at once as long as each is 1-handed .. no off-hand penalty.
4) Priest - can heal you spiritually ... oooohhhh ... only high level priests are of any use ... but they are indispensible ... without a priest a group is a large meal for a hungry beast ... many hungry and very mean beasts around ... don't get killed

Hehe ... sadly, I don't play this game anymore, because of 3 main reasons:

1) The people that play are often not very nice ... they will scam you if you give them a chance (kinda sad, but if you do a lot of online gaming this may be the ultimate conclusion of every game: people $uck ... that's why I prefer offline games ... sorry but it is the sad truth)
2) Their site is down more than it is up
3) Their game servers crash at least 3 times per day ... depending on the server, luckily they get back up in about 5 min,

But, the game is fun and free ... so at least give it a try.

is it alot like RYL (Risk Your Life). RYL is a sweet game you ought to check it out!! most people are nice and the servers are allways up but its costs money but you can get it free for a month, after that month ive been playing it since last year!! its a kick @ss game try it you'll get hooked!

I heard people saying that it gets really boring after 1 month ... they say you keep fighting monsters that are basically all alike. But, heck I'll try anything that's free for 1 month

If you guys want another free game try Starsiege Tribes, it used to be a pay game long ago until Sierra (a nice company in general) decided to make it free

The graphics for Starsiege Tribes are not the best, but it is still fun.

Tribes 2 is also free and has much better graphics, but the game works on keys, so they ran out temporarily, but you can check the site to see if more become available:

I've played both of these games, and I must say that I was addicted to Tribes 2 ... I couldn't stop playing for about 2 years ... my brother still plays it

Some of my friends seem to be addicted to this game. I have watched them on occasion and I can't figure out how they last more than a half hour playing it. You won't catch me ever playing it... it's not going to take my life like it took my friends...

you should be happy man, it wont even let me create a account, everytime i filleld out the whole thing it says "Account creation failed. Please check that you have filled out all fields marked required and try again." i even got 2 of my friends to try and it says same crap

Hello everyone! I'M HAVING A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH KNIGHTONLINE! PLEASE HELP ME!

About 2 weeks ago, when I went to Knightonline home page, there was this suggestion that for those who have already created their accounts, should enter their e-mail address so that they could receive a new login password. I think Knightonline did this for security reasons. I entered my e-mail address to get my login password for knightonline and I accidently deleted that mail which had the password on it!

I just want to contact Knightonline support team but I can't even find their e-mail address! There is a way to contact them but that is ONLY when I log in as a MEMBER in their homepage (https://www.knightonlineworld.com/) but I don't even have the right password to log in as a member!!! If I could login as a member, I could post messages on knightonline homepage forum and get some response from the support team but I can't. I already have a level 42 warrior and I don't want to throw this character away just because I can't contact the knightonline support team!

Hi you should probably check their site " http://www.knightonlineservice.com " I'm sure you can find a link or an email adress there its impossible that they don't have one. But I think the information is shown when you're signed in stupid huh.They should really do something about that.

HELLLP! Can someone please give me step by step instructions with URLs for ingame ID creation? i went to http://www.knightonlineworld.com and registered. I then activated the account. I assumed this was my game ID. But apparently not. I really need this. Thx.

For those who does'nt seem to be able to create an account, u have to fill in all options marked *, even if u don't live in North America, u have to fill that in, even if u don't live outside, fill, and u can't use other words then english alphabet and numbers, so no stuff like åäö.

also, the registration can get screwed with a hotmail account(so u wont be able to login ingame) , try another like t ex @spray.se

and for those who does'nt seem to get the mail, it almost alwys end up in junk mail, and it should'nt take more then 1 min to get the mail...

Hey, does anyone know how to re-assign a co-leader for a clan?

I NEED SERIOUS HELP! Please answer if you know how to resolve my problem! I signed up for a Knight Online Account, and I cannot log on because when i try to it says my account is blocked, I know why this is, it is because I have not activated my account yet. The reason for that is because they have not sent me the activation code yet. I have tried this on 3 e-mail addresses and, so far, nothing.

If anybody has the e-mail of the customer support can they please tell me as to access the support on the website I have to log in, which I can't for obvious reasons. Please, please reply to my question, thank you.

i downloaded the software but it wont get past the start menu it says cannot connect to FTP server please refer to homepage for announcements, i dont know what to do.

yeah, it's the same thing with me. I run windows xp and the exact errors I get are...

or

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime error! Program: C:\Program Files\KnightOnline\Launcher.exe R6025 -pure virtual funtion call"

I've tried uninstalling and installing and that didn't work. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this, pls tell me. I've been trying to get on the game for about a week now

I really like the game.
The grafics aren't so good but i liked the easy gameplay and the caracteristic of the game has good hints about monsters and its locations.
And there is only a thing i dont like the bugs and dificulty to find items for mage and warrior at begin levels.But i give 4 stars.
By the way,I believe that many guys will be tired of getting gold by killing monsters, and me too although I love this game very much. So I have to look for some good sites to buy gold. Luckily, I have found one------gkplayer dot com which I think is not a scaming site at least. their service and price are reasonale too.I trust it and I am often buy gold from the site. I think maybe you guys can have a try. It does no bad, I think.Currently they have a 5% free point promotion.
