hi and i am very new at this.
I have a dvd that i want to copy but it will not.
it is in vob file format. what do i need to do to convert it and record it?
i have Roxio on my computer now.

You should also refer to your DVD file moving and modifications as "Making a backup". We have the legal right to a backup of any software we legally own. That is if you don't live in the European Commonwealth.

The same cannot be said for multiple copies formated and changed from .vob to mpeg.

If you are new to all of this, no time like the present to enhance your gray area computer vocabulary.

To be sure though, like CHP hinted, nothing beats a good article or tutorial when you are starting from ground zero. Good luck and let us know what you came up with mate.
