I do not have a DVD burner only a cd burner and I would like to know what software i should use to burn videos onto a cd? Is there any software I can get for free or what would be something Ok for not too much money? I have Roxio 6 basic which from what I understand doesnt work for videos on a cd. Also does Window media player 10 do what I'm looking for?
And what happens if the video is larger than 700 mb, how do I go about splitting a movie so it would go on 2 cd's?
Anyone out there who can help me? thanks

I have been "brushing-up" on my knowledge. I have been playing with my new NERO 7 Ultra (after years of using the "Adaptec-Roxio-Sonic" "creator" series).

Jhoy
For spliting video I suggest Video Slice

I've tried a whole bunch of them for work, but this is the best that I have gotten my hands on so far.

Sorry, but it isn't free. But it's cheep. It's $30.

But just for you, I just went looking and I found you a free verson of a video spliting software. It says it's fast, which is very good thing, but I've never used it. VidSplitter.

For a program that can do vcd, that I know of, is Ashampoo Burning Studio 5. This one is also $30 and burns everything, and you can test out this one for 30 days with all the features.
