Through several "clean installs" and/or damaged "password manager" database files and/or misplaced email confirmations and/or hand-written typos and/or all the above, I have always found that if I send an email directly to the company with ALL the pertinent information I can give, they have ALL responded with the help I needed to get the problem fixed.
If you are a "legit, registered" owner of their program, they have a record. All you have to do is ask nicely. It's always worked for me.
