Hello.

I have a very large collection of music on my computer in MP3 and OGG format. Most of it I ripped myself from my CD collection at very high bitrates, such as 256 to 320 kbps.

While this is fine on my home computer, where I have plenty of space, it means that it's going to be hard to fit it all on a portable mp3 player, such as an iPod. Also, I doubt these quality levels are necessary when listening with earbuds on an mp3 player.

Is there any easy way I could re-encode the files to a lower bitrate as a batch?

Thanks
Steve

Super Audio Converter

I haven't tried it. I haven't had the heart or time to do anything with my 7gigs of music.

If you don't like this one, you can try the rest the results that I got from the google search.
