When installing Real Alternative, did you make sure that the "Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape/Opera
Plugin" is checked when selecting which components to install? Maybe check options/prefs within Opera to see that it is configured properly.
Thanks for bearing with me. Yes, I definitely specified installation of the plugin, and I've made certain the plugin is present and enabled in Opera. I know the problem must be related to the hurl.exe.ram file type, but I don't know how to work around this in Opera. This has become an intellectual frustration more than a real problem, for I do have ample alternatives to hear the sound clips on Amazon!
