hey up untill now my vlc player was workin perfextly but now for somereason it plays sound but no video to every file i play but thats not the case for media player classic etc so im thinking somethings up with it could any of you help me out oh and yea i didnt really make any codec adjustments so im not sure why it dosnt work ive even tried installing/uninstalling 2 times already

You didn't install anything at all... something to conflict with VLC? Try cleaning out temp files including windows prefetch folder. DISCK Cleanup is another decent utility to run (located in Accessories/System Tools).

Make sure using latest 0.81 version.
