My problem is with my monitor it was working fine, then I did a system restoral on the computer and now when I turn the monitor on the screen stays black and the orange light just flashes. I plug a different monitor up to the computer and that monitor worked so the computer is fine, but what is with the monitor?

This may be due the restore setting your display to high for your montior to handle or it hasn't restored your graphics card drivers, plug in the other montior and set your Screen Resoltion to 800x600, then plug in the other montior and see if this works. Go and get the drivers for your card and see if there are any drivers for your montior.

Thanks, but I got mad at the thing and hit the top and the monitor suddenly came on,and is working fine.
