Hi, i have a dell dimension 5000, about 13 months old, out of the blue cd's will not load, the drive make a noise 2/3 times then nothing, i desperately need to reinstall windows xp but it wont load, audio, dvds etc wont load too

However again out of the blue it loaded a cd, then however would not load it second time of asking, any clues?

sounds like ur CDrom is on the way out.......

Two words...toss it!!
Time for a new Cd Rom
