Thanks for your responses.
All activeX control through IE is enabled.
All file types are valid.
Nothing is firewalled.
I searched in google and took an activeX test (http://www2.essex.ac.uk/wimovac/activex.htm). There were two types of tests. One which displayed your current date and time and the other which displayed the stuff in the website I mentioned above. The date and time test worked perfectly. The test in the website mentioned above failed and looked like the screenshot I have attached.
Whatever it is, its now clear to me that the problem is realted to activeX.
How can I fix this activeX problem?
Thanks
How would you check what activeX codecs you have and how to enable them? I have a similar problem where I am trying to view and embeded video in a website but when the page loads there is no video. Instead there is an error pop up saying that I need to install an activex codec. when i try to install the codec it offers ( webvideo.exe ) nothing happens. I save the file and when i start it up nothing happens. what may be the problem? and how can I fix it?
