I was having problems playing .mov files with QTA , some played allright, but most wouldn't play, when opened CPU usage would shoot to 100% but movies didn't start playing.
But the big problem is that the same thing happens when i try to uninstall QTA, the part where it asks to close IE works, but then when it should start uninstalling it just freezes and cpu usage goes 100 % (regsvr32.exe) and i have to end the process in task manager. I have no codec packs installed, just the basics (XviD, AC3 filter, DivX) and i never had the original QuickTime installed. It probably messed up because of installing newer versions straight over the older ones.
Is there a way to remove it manualy or is there a known fix for this problem??
