alright so i downloaded this .avi file but it wouldnt play the video so i downloaded Satsuki Decoder Pack. I installed all the codecs in there. The .avi file ended up working great so I unistalled the codec pack. Then the trouble starts, I try to play some music but all I can hear is the bat, nothing else or the volume of the voice is very very very low. can anyone help me? I tried to install some other codecs to try an dfix the problem and ive also uninstalled then reinstalled all my soundcard drivers.

Next time you should set a restorepoint.

Now download G-Spot and check the files that dont work with it.

G-Spot will show you whats missing.

Can be a codec, filter or similar application thats missing.

When you found out, download and install it.

Theres a guide here, to download single codecs.

Its called `Guide to using codecs`, from Mischcabob.

This makes sure you just install whats neccessary for your needs.

Otherwise codecpacks got a lot codecs you needs and a lot you dont need.

Ive got the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and it works fine.

Im happy with it, maybe you should try it.

Hope this helps to find a solution for you.
