Hi All,
I am new here..smile.gif I have been browsing the net for something to fix my problem.
Here is my setup:
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 SE and Logitech x-530 speakesr 5.1.

I downloaded the winXP codecs and installed them ( dtsac3source.ax)
When I play a .wav DTS file I get ststic.
But, I borrowed a cd by Forginer which is DTS and in my Creative MediaSource Player auto plays it and displays DTS and Surround sound logo pops up and the sound is awesome.
I also borrowed a Video DVD of Steely Dan "Two against Nature" and that plays beautiful in PowerDVD.

My question is: what am I doing wrong so that the DTS wav file will not play?
BTW, I am trying to play this wav file from the hard drive.....this file (1.wav) is 490 mb and has a (1.cue) file in the same folder. Will it only work if burned to a cd?

thanks in advance,
TheRock
