I am sure that this is a very naive question, but I have not yet installed Media Player Classic, so I am wondering how it handles Digital Rights Management.

This question occurs to me because based on the Windows Media Player plug-ins I see in my internet browser, Windows Media Player 7.0 and up apparently requires (or at least uses) Digital Rights Management.

How does Media Player Classic deal with Digital Rights Management?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. My internet browser is the SeaMonkey browser. The SeaMonkey Suite (browser, email, and an html editor known as Composer) is the latest incarnation of the Mozilla Suite.

I don't think it plays DRM stuff.

I hope that's true, because I don't want the DRM stuff cluttering up my computer. But I hope someone has tried to play something protected by DRM, to confirm that the attempt fails.
