I never knew the sun could be so interesting. You can even watch real-time movies of the sun using different observational equipment.

Almost real time images and Bluesun, which is great app - Bluesun is designed to connect to NASA and download the latest image of the Sun and then to automatically set it as your desktop wallpaper. It's really interesting wink.gif

I've found an even better way than that ... you can set a continuously updated image as a desktop item for Windows (Right click -> Set as Desktop Item ...) and choose a synchronization schedule such as at startup, or when idle for x minutes, or at specific times, etc. For me, it's a bit more convenient than Bluesun, since Bluesun has limitations as to what kind of images you can obtain. This way, you can even set web-cams as desktop items ... I was never aware of this feature of Windows, pretty cool ... rofl.gif

I figured this out yesterday by chance experimentation (my favorite way of finding things out) ... who needs a manual ? Bah ... not me kamikaze.gif

Yes you can have active web content... but uses more memory/bandwidth.

If you go to webshots... you can have wallpaper change at different intervals like upon computer startup etc. Rotating calendar wallpaper is pretty handy. wink.gif
