I installed Matroska Pack and from time to time I get the following message from Haali Media Splitter



Any suggestion what I should do?

I forgot to mention that it happens anytime when I am nowhere near an avi file or any video file.

Matroska Pack contains an old version of Haali Splitter (11-10-2005). I suggest you to install Haali Matroska Splitter 07.07.2006

Should I uninstall the Matroska pack first?

Yes.

You may also check in CP > Add or Remove Programs first. It is possible to find the Haali Splitter there

Thank You Euromix but I had already uninstalled the whole Matrosla pack.
I will have to wait for a few days to see whether it is effective since the problem occured randomly.
When I installed the Haali splitter I left all the options they propose. I am not sure whether it is a good idea. The problem I mentioned in another post about a .mov clip taken from a digital camera that had no sound has now gone the other way, i.e. sound but no image.
Can I install K-Lite Pack as well?
