Komugi,
Apparently you did not read my post, to which unfortunately I have not had any reply yet.
We have the same problem. Mine is with a .mov video clip taken with a digital camera.

Mine was an .avi file downloaded.. haha, I can't figure out the audio codecs, I tried AC3, AAC and OGM.. none of 'em are right. Skal, did you happen to try the K-Lite pack?

As mentioned many times, try identifying video/audio codecs that the AVI container uses with
GSPOT or other utility. At first glance, it looks like Ogg Vorbis ACM codec to me.
Possible codecs/decoders:

As I mentioned in another post, neither gspot nor avicodec work for .mov files.
Do you have an alternative?
Komugi,
I have not tried K-light pack. I don't know whether I can install it on top of the Code2k media pack I already have.

MediaInfo seems to supply info about Quicktime files.
Take care, too many packs can cause conflicts. Install only the codecs you really need

Thank you Euromix. Mediainfo recognised that they were quicktime files but was blank about the codecs for the 4 clips that came from that digital camera whereas it gave me the information for other mov videos I have.
I know that they work on quicktime player but it was such a nightmare to uninstall it that I am reluctant to reinstall it.
I converted them to divx (with DrDivx which works fine) and it works but it is frustrating that I cannot make the original mov files play.
Do you think I should uninstall everything? But mixhcabob you are not very explicit how to unistall the codecs. And should I uninstall the players as well?
And you both point out to install only the codecs one needs, but it is not easy to figure out what one needs in the jungle of codecs available. It is all very confusing and I was much happier when I was ignorant and did not try to undrestand what I was doing.
So if you can give me some light I will appreciate.
