da_punisher, if you really want to remove IE (even WMP, Outlook, MSN Messenger and so on)
nLite seems to be the best choice.
Another interesting thing:
After removal, there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines. With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install doesn't include, or even contain on cd, unwanted components.As Slim30097 said, don't forget to create the restore point before
