I have Yundi ImageQuest V770+
Not sure of the size mellow.gif
But Every now n then The screen willl change to blue, green, red, black or off set colors
It take around four or 5 hits to get the color back
and well never in the same place to make the color come back sometimes the top
other sides or the very back Once n a while I would have to hit the sides at the same time to get the color back and 5 or six times at that
Anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

Melody, I am sorry, but your issue as described is beyond my ability to help you.

I do not know what you mean by "hits", in your description - that does not help me either. Are you hitting the computer, physically? Or the monitor? There is a thought! Does this lose of color happen randomly or in a pattern, such as when using certain software, or when the machine has just been started, or has been running a long time?

I have never heard of a "Yundi". I have never seen the screen behavior you describe. Could you be referring to the "Hyundai ImageQuest V770+"? Would you be willing to run Aida32 or EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 and reporting your hardware setup to us so we can see what we are dealing with?

Maybe you should go to http://www.hyundaiq.com/pro_v770+.asp# and check that out. Make sure your monitor settings are compatible with the monitor as described at that site, then check to be sure your drivers for the monitor are up to date (2006-03-22 [ Driver CRT ] V770/V771/V772/V773 ) at http://www.hyundaiq.com/down.asp?page=3&am...el=&SchStr= . Also, turn off your computer, and monitor, unplug your montitor, clean the pins at the end (or ends) of the monitor cable, reconnect the monitor to the computer making sure the connection is secure, and then plug the monitor in and restart the computer.

If you have done all of these things, and the monitor still blanks, or loses color periodically you might be able to find a repair shop. But it might also be more effective to find a new monitor.
