Im newbie in this stuff and thing,
wish there was a section for ultra noob question around here

I have a k-lite mega codec pack 171 installed on my machine
I have no problem playing 3gp and most other format using video player such as wmp11,tvc,cyberlink and wmp classic. I assume that klm codec is working with them bcoz i can see symbol like divx,ffdshow & haali media splitter appear on the notification area. But when i try with winamp, i found that some of the video format were unable to be played. Are there some setting i need to adjust? Please give some advise. Thanx.

Not sure if winamp has own codecs.. i stick to audio with that player.
Nullsoft directshow decoder should handle most stuff. Otherwise, browse input/output plugins section on winamp site. The winamp forum is also a good source of info.

Options > Preferences > Plug-ins > Input > Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder > Configure > add 3GP

Yup..I've tried searching their forum but still haven't find anything yet...
I also search their plugin for video codecs and still cannot find anything yet...
not good in searching though
