Hello Everybody. This is my first post and I hope someone can help. I have been using media player classic for video playback on my pc for about 3 years now and have found it to be the best for any type of movie (DVD, VCD, xvid, divx etc.......). I recently had to reinstall windows and all my old programs after a virus situation. I did a clean reformatted install. The problem I am having now is when I pay a movie in media player classic, it plays fine, as long as the mouse is moving. Thats right, as soon as I stop moving the mouse, the video and audio stop and when I move the mouse it starts again for as long as the mouse is moving. I watched about 20 minutes of Grindhouse on xvid before the mouse moving drove me mental and I stopped. I have tried installing and uninstalling all of the various codec packs but still the same problem. Even a regular DVD playback using Windvd7 needs the mouse to be moving.
This is a bizarre phenomenon and I hope that someone may help. I am sure I have found the right forum, and, if no one here knows then I may have stumbled across a 1 in a million problem.
