I am the ultimate newbie so please have mercy. After the customary forum search that did not yield anything I have to post this ...

When playing DVDs with K-Lite Classic Player as well as WMP 11 I can hear all the movie sounds but no dialogues!!! In fact if I take tha volume all the way up, I can hear them very faintly with all the other background movie sounds extremely loud as expected.

Please help!

The solution can be found in the K-Lite FAQ.

Run the Codec Tweak Tool.
1) Configure your speaker setup
2) Enable the "boost ac3 sound" tweak

I will try the solution as soon as I go home and let you know how it turns out.
