This has absolutely nothing to do with K-Lite. If you don't believe me, just uninstall it and you'll see the problem is still there. K-Lite has millions of users and I have never see any reports of DVD burning problems.
It is possible that your burner is just damaged. Burners deteriorate if you use them a lot. Or you are using too cheap recordable DVDs. Use a quality brand like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
That was the weirdest thing. The burner was working fine. I'd just burned a couple of disc about 1/2 hour before. I installed K-lite, and burner stopped working. Thanks for the help. I installed another burner, and everything is fine. What are the odds of that happening. Knowing K-lite had nothing to do with my problem put me in the right direction and saved a lot of time
