I have ben using K lite mega codec pack (1.5.3) for quite a while, and i recently downloaded the newest build (3.5.7). How come the newest build is only 13MB, compared to the older one , which is 34MB. Is it better compression, or has stuff been left out of the newer build ?

Also, is there anyway to intall the codec pack, but not ffshow (audio/video), cause SUPER (Video Converting program), doesnt agree with them...

It no longer contains QuickTime Alternative. That's is why it is smaller. But it is still at least 16MB. You probably got the Full version instead of Mega.

You can customize the installer. Just select what you want to install and deselect everything else.

But I would recommend to get rid of SUPER. Use Avidemux instead.
