Dear All ,

I have downloaded a video , but unable to view it.
It is asking for a HBS codec inshort SONY DV codec.

Can somebody help me ??????????????

Have you installed the Mega Pack Codec? this includes many codecs for audio and video encoding/decoding.

Yes , But it didn't help me.

Any other solution ?

Infact , the gspot says codec installed. When I try to determine the name of codec , it says HBS (Sony DV codec) required.

Please help.

I stay away from proprietary codecs/decoders unless there is a device like handcam that requires them.
Have you tried doing custom install of ACE mega codecs? I believe it has a Sony DV codec.

Sorry , but it was of no use.
The codec is for Software not for Video...
Anyway , trying to find the codec on web, hopefully will find a solution.........
