I recently upgraded my computer, and in the process of re-installing XP Home, I am having a problem getting the video to play. I started out with WMP 11, but couldn't get that to work under any combo of codecs or packs. Divx and Xvid also wouldn't play in VLC or Media Player Classic. I then stripped all of the codec and got rid of WMP 11 and went back to WMP 9. That worked after installing DX50 codec. I then attempted to upgrade to WMP 11 again and again, no video. Sound works fine btw. So now I have attempted to re-strip back to WMP 9 and I cannot get the video to play this time. Video also does not work under VLC or Classic. GSpot says that codecs are installed and video render is okay, but video will not show there either.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks
