Hi everyone,

I always receive an error message: "Unsupported codec for output stream#0.0" while converting movie (using Total Video Converter) although I installed K-Lite codec pack 4.17 full. Is there anyone know what wrong with this? Plz tell me how and what to do.

Thanks a lot.

cheers

Are you able to play the file? If so, then it is a bug in Total Video Converter.

You can use a tool such as MediaInfo to see what kind of audio your file contains. Without such information, nobody here can help you.

Hi asdf,

I'm able to play the file. I just get trouble every time I start to convert movies to mpeg files. Here is audio your file contains:

Audio
Format : MPEG Audio
Format version : Version 1
Format profile : Layer 3
Codec ID : 55
Codec ID/Hint : MP3
Duration : 1h 41mn
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 128 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
Resolution : 16 bits
Video delay : 26ms
Stream size : 93.1 MiB (12%)
Alignment : Split accross interleaves
Interleave, duration : 40 ms (1.00 video frame)
Interleave, preload duration : 500 ms
Writing library : LAME3.97 (beta)

Hope you can help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

Not sure about LAME binary... could be stability issue?
Perhaps, MPEG 1- layer 2 is likely supported, but layer 3 is not.

Could try decompressing MP3-> 48khz, 16bit WAv (PCM) instead of using MP3. Can be done with external/3rd party app.
Good luck! thumbsup.gif
