Full Version: Black box appearing centre of MPC in full-screen

Rumple
Background
I have been using MPC for years, and until recently have never had a problem with it.
Having changed all the keys in the Options and configured a remote to work the player about 4 years ago I had no reason to change anything.

Recently I discovered that my version of Quicktime (Alternative) was out of date. Also, for some reason I lost all my key settings (forcing me to go through them all and recalibrate it so my IR remote would work again), so I decided to try and updated version on MPC.

I am now running MPC 6.4.9.1 (revision 82).
The video is Outputting DirectShow using VMR9 (renderless) and DirectX 9 for both RealMedia & Quicktime.

Problem
Now when I run video from an authored DVD in full screen mode I get an annoying black box flashing in the centre of the screen...

(full screen 1920x1200, reduced by 50%)

This problem does not appear when I run a data video (.avi, .mov, .wmv etc), and so is only appearing during full screen mode of Authored DVD's.

HELP!

Change the renderer. And update your video drivers.
