I am preparing my computer for a format and would like to save the settings for K-Lite codec pack.In the past when I have formatted it has taken a long time with trial and error to get the settings right.I would like to be able to save or print out the settings before I start the format.Any help would be good. smile.gif
Sir James
Just a wild suggestion. Find the K-Lite Codec Pack in "Program Files" and copy it bodily into another partition, or to DVD or whatever, then when you have reinstalled Windoze, copy it back. It just might work. Even if you have to reset it up, it may find the settings.

Oddly enough, I have always accepted the defaults, and have never had a problem. Oh well.

There is an option the Codec Tweak Tool for importing/exporting your settings.
