My laptop has an ALC883 codec which has a large number of configurable features. Unfortunately the Realtek interface screen does not give me the options of which the ALC883 is capable. One of them is to re-task the analogue inputs/outputs to reverse their functions, ie I want a line-out to drive my hi-fi stereo amp instead of line-in, which is not an option with the Realtek screen. Any ideas anyone of patches, presumably for the op system, XP?
