Peior Crustulum
Hi!

I have a relatively annoying problem when using MPC HC with K-lite.
What seems to be happening is that the subtitles won't display when loading a DVD structure.
Subtitles won't display when using actual dvd, loading ISO with DVD structure with daemon tools or using the "open directory" function on a dvd structured directory.
I don't have any problem loading subtitles from AVI's or MKV's.

Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

Edit: One more thing that is quite annoying is that when loading subtitles for certain MKV's there is a significant stutter in the video playback.
It does not show as a FPS drop in statistics, but visually it is quite significant.

Solutions for problem 1:
Make sure you have enabled the DVD subtitles. You can enable the subtitles through the "Navigate" menu in MPC. There you can also select the subtitles language.

If no subtitles are displayed, even when you have enabled them, then try the following solutions:

* Disable DXVA hardware acceleration in the Cyberlink MPEG-2 Decoder. You can do that with the Codec Tweak Tool.
* Enable the internal MPEG-2 decoder in MPC. You can do that in MPC Options -> Internal Filters.

Solutions for problem 2:
MPC options > Subtitles > set subpicture buffer to 3
