I'm a new boy here looking for an answer which has proved very elusive to date. I have recently bought a sony handycan[cx105e] and cannot view any more than 4 or 5 seconds of my HD movies I have taken using the sony Picture motion browser. SD movies play ok but sony tell me I need to remove some video codecs to allow playback.They are unable to help beyond this! I have windows xp [32bit] with a small array of codecs not a long list,eg divx6, indeo video5.0 all the rest end in .dll Can anyone help?

You need to remove Haali ... aka MatroskaSplitter.exe.
