Links!! How many links! My God!!!!!! ohmy.gif shock1.gif biggrin.gif
H_TeXMeX_H
uhhh .... why so many ? I look at that and say: "holy %$#^, that looks confusing !" Like everything about linux just thrown up in one post sick.gif Personally, I probably will not click most of them. I clicked a few and found them only marginally useful, and only if I knew exactly what I wanted.

Why not just list main sites offering say linux OSs or other components from which you can navigate to more useful links, not a huge mess of somewhat unrelated and marginally useful links.

That's just my input (Don't take it too badly, all I'm saying is that it looks awefully messy and marginally useful) (Maybe it's just me ?)

I guess it might be a good resource if you had time to dig through and find what you need, you really need to know what you need ! unsure.gif

Thanks, I can really use thoughs!!! I have Linux installed on my old computer, and thanks to you I might put it on my new one too biggrin.gif! I might keep Windows around though for some stuff, that way I can use wich ever one I want. If I can get it working, last time i tried it screwed up the partition Windows was on too sad.gif. I Think the CD was courupted... huh.gif And you know that HP dosn't give you backup CDs with their computers? Took me almost two weeks to get my new computer back up... glad I kept my old one rolleyes.gif

Next time I might as well just put together my own like Tim and Mishacbob

The software is in the most part organized, and I think thats really what you need because (to me) Linux is pretty easy to get the hang of.... just maybe work at the command lines and get to know where you can get software from...
